Chatfield Pumpkin Festival

In Mid-October, we visited a pumpkin festival. The weather was great. There were lots of activities for the girls. Hailee got her face painted with purple unicorn and mom got a temporary tattoo on her calf.

Pumpkin Patch

At the Fall festival, there was a pumpkin patch. We hunted tirelessly for the perfect pumpkins and settled on 2.

Race for the Cure - 2010

On October 3rd, Hailee and Jill along with Auntie Michele and cousin Kalyn did the race for the cure in downtown. They got all dressed in their pink gear and rode the train downtown for the race.

Peach Madness

In late September, our 2 peach trees exploded with fruit. It's our first year with the trees, but we hear it was the best crop in several years. We were overwhelmed for weeks with a seemingly endless supply. Jill got her creative juices going with things to do with them - including setting up a peach/lemonade stand for the girls, jarring peaches, freezing peaches, making peach butter and salsa. And of course making peach cobbler and pie!

Hailee's Dolls

One day Hailee decided to line up some of her dolls along her closet. Here she is letting us know all their names.

Family Hike

We took our first official full family hike in early September in Lone Tree. Walked up onto a plateau that had great views of Denver. On the way down, we even saw a deer (bottom left corner of the 5th picture). Then, the girls enjoyed some popsicles and frozen bananas in the backyard.

First Day Of School

After our Florida trip, it was back to school. Hailee is showing off her new pencil box on her first day of her new class - she is a Lion this year, next year Kindergarten. While Samantha is letting off some steam after school playing in our backyard.

We took our, now annual, family trip to Florida in August. Lots of days on the beach and sunset walks.
